Job Description:

Construction Technology Integration Specialist Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Technology Implementation & Integration

  • Lead the rollout of new construction technology platforms (ERP, project management software, telematics, GPS, BIM, drones, etc.).

  • Ensure systems integrate smoothly with existing workflows (dispatch, equipment, accounting, HR, safety).

  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Project Management teams to align tech tools with business needs.

  • Customize software dashboards, templates, and workflows for field and office use.


2. Training & Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs for superintendents, foremen, project managers, and office staff.

  • Create user-friendly guides, SOPs, and video walkthroughs.

  • Provide first-line support for troubleshooting software and technology issues.

  • Act as the “go-to” resource for bridging field operations and tech platforms.


3. Process Improvement

  • Analyze current construction processes and identify areas for digitization or automation.

  • Recommend and implement workflow improvements using technology.

  • Standardize processes across teams (e.g., daily reports, safety checklists, equipment tracking).

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs through tech adoption.


4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP, telematics, BIM, drones, project management software).

  • Provide reports to leadership on equipment utilization, labor productivity, project costs, and scheduling.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across departments.

  • Use dashboards to provide real-time insights to project teams and executives.


5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with vendors, software providers, and consultants on updates, integrations, and support.

  • Partner with Finance, People Ops, and Safety to ensure technology captures compliance and reporting needs.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to forecast technology requirements for upcoming projects.

  • Act as liaison between field operations and IT leadership.


6. Innovation & Future Technology

  • Stay up to date with industry trends (AI in construction, robotics, drones, AR/VR, predictive analytics).

  • Research and test emerging technologies for potential adoption.

  • Recommend pilot programs and evaluate ROI of new tools.

  • Drive company-wide innovation initiatives to keep EBCC competitive.


7. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure technology platforms comply with data security, privacy, and client-specific requirements.

  • Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery protocols for tech-dependent processes.

  • Monitor user permissions, licensing, and access controls.
