Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Estimator & Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and overseeing complex construction projects from planning through completion. Your expertise in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and collaboration will play a critical role in delivering projects that exceed client expectations in quality, efficiency, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating

Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop detailed cost estimates for residential, educational, dams, industrial, and mining projects.

Conduct comprehensive material, labor, and equipment cost analysis across diverse project types.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project-specific information and address scope changes.

Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals with competitive and accurate pricing.

Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Identify and evaluate potential project risks, offering actionable recommendations to mitigate challenges.

Assist in value engineering to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality or functionality.

Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.
Project Management

Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and work plans for projects of varying scope and complexity.

Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate pricing, timely delivery, and quality materials.

Oversee project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Lead communication efforts with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Utilize advanced software tools such as Bluebeam, Agtek, Autodesk, and Microsoft Projects to streamline estimating and project management processes.
Qualifications

Proven experience in construction estimating and project management across multiple sectors, including residential, educational, dams, industrial, and mining projects.

Proficiency in industry-standard software tools (Bluebeam, Agtek, Autodesk, Microsoft Projects/Excel).

Strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, and risk management practices.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with Texas building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements is preferred.
